Several major construction contractors are engaged in Iraq's transportation projects that include repairing, rebuilding and expanding for all air, rail and surface transportation sectors. Iraq's four major airports are being uprgraded to ICAO standards. Projects are funded for highway, roads, bridges, tunnels, mass transit systems, and port/ marine facilities improvements are just beginning to break ground.
